Sweet Potato Pizza Crust

For the crust: I started with this recipe from Carrots ‘N’ Cake.  I liked the seasonings, but I think next time I will leave out the cinnamon, curry, and paprika, but will add more Italian seasonings.  I will keep you updated on the ultimate pizza crust seasoning mix.  I also used almond flour to keep it grain free.  It actually had an almost exact texture of pizza crust and it’s safe to say I could care less to ever have normal crust again.  It fulfills my pizza needs.

For the sauce: I meal prepped for my 21 Day Fix meal plan so I used the leftover marinara sauce.

Marinara: (stir and simmer all ingredients for 20-30 minutes)

  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2-4 cloves garlic
  • Italian seasoning
  • pinch of sugar

For toppings: I stuck with Tina’s pizza recipes and used Brussel Sprout and Chicken Parmigiano.  The. Bomb. Heezy.

So let’s recap:

  • use sweet potato recipe for crust
  • use marinara recipe for sauce
  • use Brussel Sprout Chicken Parmigiano toppings.
