Throwing A Protein Curveball

I have grown to really love Tempeh and it gives me another option for protein since I don’t even want to think about seafood.  There are a million recipes out there for how to make it, but I thought a roundup of how to make an entire meal using Tempeh would be great since I am on the prowl myself!

My go-to recipe is to sprinkle my ranch seasoning (FREE OF MSG and other fillers) then cook it in coconut oil on the stove.  I finish with a drizzle of Frank’s Red Hot, of course.

Brittany @Eating Bird Food makes some mean recipes.  Go follow her if you aren’t already!  This one is for Lemon Garlic Tempeh which is 21 Day Fix approved!  Click here for the recipe.

Shannon who blogs @The Glowing Fridge has an awesome Tempeh Taco Boat option.  I would just make avocado cream sauce or use Greek yogurt for the dressing, but you can decide what is best for you!  Recipe here.

Tempeh-Taco-Boats1My buddy Zach created this delicious Asian Orange Tempeh @The No Fuss Vegan.  Drooling.  Here is his recipe!

As if those weren’t enough…

Jenny @Fitsugar posted this Mexican Tempeh Quinoa Salad that is giving me heart palpitations.  Here is her version.
