Urban remedy review + coupon code

“Food is healing” -Urban Remedy.

Do you agree?  I do!

It’s healing in so many more ways than just nurturing my body.  I find comfort in it.  From the way it smells when I am preparing it, to the texture and flavor on my tongue or even the way it satisfies me when I am hungry or stressed.  I also find comfort in the colors on a plate and the glow my skin has when I eat clean food.

Urban Remedy does all of this for me.

When I first peeked at their site, I was sucked in.  The food is stunning.  The color is so natural and honestly beautiful.  It’s real, raw, clean food.  I almost felt healed just looking at it.

I guess that is to be expected when you have a health guru preparing your food for you.  The creator, Neka Pasquale, is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and certified Chinese nutritionist.  If anyone knows how to heal a body with food, it’s her.

Reasons Urban Remedy rocks and I will be ordering again.  (And why you should, too!)

  • Everything is made fresh and shipped right to your door.  As convenient as it gets!
  • Raw, gluten free, vegan ingredients.
  • Highly nutritious foods.  Ginger, spinach, kale, quinoa, beets… need I go on?
  • Priced just right.  I don’t think these prices are too steep for the quality + convenience you get!
  • I can snack without guilt.
  • It’s beautiful.  I mean seriously beautiful.

What made me decide to love it so much?

It was like Christmas morning when I received my box.  It was loaded with ice since the ingredients are all fresh and time sensitive.  I wasn’t even sure where to start digging in.  I wanted it all!

I literally loved every single product I got to sample and that’s saying something.  Although I eat healthy and enjoy healthy foods, I don’t always like everything I try.  Especially when it comes to juice blends because let’s face it, they can be a little weird.

Have I ever told you how much I hate beets?…  Another story, another day.  In a nutshell, I avoid them at all costs because they taste like pure dirt.  It was a shock to me that I had a change of heart when I tried the After Party juice from Urban Remedy. (Ingredients: Carrot, Apple, Lemon, Beet, Ginger.)  WOAH.  It was amazing.

Here is a look at a few more of my favorites!

Drinks – Really delicious and I wanted more immediately.

Urban Remedy Juices

Brainiac  Ingredients: Celery, Cucumber, Spinach, Lemon, Parsley  Must have!  This grew on me with each sip.  It was refreshing and the mix of celery with lemon made me actually crave it.

Pink Lemonade  Ingredients: Apple, Water, Ginger, Lemon, Purple Cabbage.  Hands down the best lemonade of any kind that I have ever had.  Rob said he backs up that statement!

Cold Brew Light  Ingredients: Coffee Beans, Almond Milk, Water  Fresh and pure coffee flavor.  I love that it’s not sweet and not watered down.

PB&J Ingredients: Almond Milk, Almond Butter, Coconut Sugar, Raspberry, Black Chia Seed, Maca Powder, Pea Protein  Quinn called this “strawberry milk” which she thought was the red disgusting syrup stuff.  I will be getting more of this just for her!  (Okay, maybe for me, too.)

Mint Cacao Chip  Ingredients: Almond Milk, Banana, Cashew, Vanilla Extract, Stevia, Spinach, Spearmint, Cacao Nibs  I am normally not a fan of anything mint with chocolate, but I couldn’t stop sipping on this!  I think I like it because it is fresh and real ingredients.

The drinks were my favorite, but all of the food would be a great addition to our house on a weekly basis.
