I’m officially in “throw dinner together” mode.
Maybe it’s the fact that we are so busy.
Maybe it’s the fact that it’s warm outside and we would rather play.
Maybe I have been spoiled by meal prepping… eithahhhh wayyyyy, fix it and forget it is now my go-to method.
So this week, I have been enjoying my Steamfresh® Full Flavor Veggies as a side to our meals. Not only are they quick, but it’s nice to have a veggie side versus grains since it fits my current meal plan and fitness goals. Of course, I like encouraging Quinn (and Rob) to eat more veggies.
The other night, Quinn wanted to play outside so I decided to grill these up; Teriyaki Chicken Kabobs with Steamfresh® Teriyaki Broccoli.
You can’t go wrong with chicken, broccoli, onion and pineapple!
I just stacked each kabob then added Teriyaki sauce and grilled them up. If you are looking for a cleaner version of Teriyaki sauce, check out this recipe from Paleo Newbie.

While they were grilling, I warmed up the Steamfresh® Teriyaki Broccoli to mix in with our meal for added veggie power. (You could add brown rice or another starch, but I was making this to fit my meal plan.)
This morning, I had my usual eggs with spinach but added in the Steamfresh® Buffalo Cauliflower that I had steamed the night before as a snack. It’s so good! Added a sliver of avocado for my healthy fat and BOOM, breakfast was done and still fit my macros. Then I was off to the gym!
